A Tuesday Holiday
Yesterday morning the children and I abandoned schoolwork and chores to escape on a Tuesday Holiday. We had a fabulous time! We found an old country store with an old doctor's and pharmacist's office museum tucked inside. There were some beautiful things to enjoy and many questions to be asked by the children.
Even more than the museum and the store, we enjoyed their big, grassy, hilly front yard! The cool grass just invited us to take our shoes off.
Abigail and Ian so enjoyed running up and down the hill!
Abigail fell down the hill.
Ian fell up the hill.
There was a nice big tree that Miss Emily used to play peek-a-boo with Mommy.
Miss Abigail relaxed under the tree as well.
Mr. Ian decided to make a funny face at Mommy when she stood over to snap a picture and interrupted his cloud watching.
After leisurely enjoying our morning we left Patterson's Mill to search for some ice cream.
I really don't think we could have asked for a more enjoyable day!
