Grambie's Potato Soup and Whole Wheat Biscuits

Peel, wash, and chop:

2 onions
1 head of garlic
5or6 carrots
10ish potatoes
handful of broccoli florets

Boil in about 32 oz chicken broth, some sea salt, and pepper until completely done.

Mash with potato masher. Add a cup or two of milk or cream.

Simmer for about twenty minutes adding more chicken broth or milk/cream, as needed.

Just before serving chop two or three large handfuls of spinach and add to soup, stirring until mixed in well.

Serve into bowls, topping with a bit of cheese and accompany with fresh whole wheat biscuits.

* 2 cups whole wheat flour
* 4 teaspoons baking powder
* 1 tablespoon sugar
* 3/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 cup butter chopped into tiny pieces
* 1 cup milk

Mix dry ingredients, then add wet just until combined. I'm lazy and just do drop biscuits, but you are more than welcome to roll and cut out (it's more fun that way but I don't always have time).

Bake at 450 degrees for about 11 minutes.

ENJOY!
